There is something quietly remarkable about traditional clothing across Southeast Asia.

Whether it is the sarong worn in villages along the Malay Peninsula, the loose-fitting kebaya of Indonesia, or the lightweight cotton garments found throughout Thailand and Vietnam, one thing becomes clear: these clothes were never designed to impress first. They were designed to live in.
